My new boss is my wife's ex
I just found out that my new boss is the man my wife dumped a few
years ago to marry me. The man was planning to marry her and saw her
through her university days financially and also supported her family.
We met during our NYSC, fell in love and got married shortly after. My
woman handled the discharging of her ex codedly. Now 4 years into our
marriage, there's a big issue. I just got this really good job and my
direct boss happens to be the man my wife dumped for me.
He knows who I am because he confronted me back when my wife left him
for me, but since I started this job, he hasn't said anything to me
but I noticed he excludes me from most of the activities that concern
staff and I suspect he's trying to sabotage me. He hasn't done
anything yet, I'm just worried that he has bad plans for me. Should I
quit or should I wait to see what he's up to? I don't look forward to
going to work at all.

Brazil 2014: FIFA World Cup Finals Draw
The 2014 FIFA World Cup draw took place in Brazil today and Nigeria
will play against Argentina, Iran and Bosnia-something...lol.
Nigeria's opening game will be against Iran and even though Bosnia
looks like it will be an easy game for us, the country is ranked
higher than Nigeria in the world. They are ranked 21st, while Nigeria
is ranked 36th, but I'm sure we'll qualify alongside Messi's
Argentina.

Video: Paul Walker's fatal crash caught on CCTV
A video showing the precise moment Paul Walker's Porsche Carrera GT crashed into a tree and burst into flames has been released. The footage of the deadly crash was captured by CCTV cameras on the roof of an industrial park close to the crash site. The pic above was taken a few minutes after the accident on Saturday. It shows fire fighters and police physically wrestling one of Paul's friends away from the scene.
Meanwhile a friend of Paul and Roger Rodas who was at the charity show on Saturday said the two friends took the Porsche out to check for a suspected mechanical issue and not for a joyride as is being reported.
Meanwhile a friend of Paul and Roger Rodas who was at the charity show on Saturday said the two friends took the Porsche out to check for a suspected mechanical issue and not for a joyride as is being reported.
'As they were backing up the Carrera to put into the garage, it started stalling. I heard someone say, and I think it was Roger, "Why is the car stalling? Let’s take it around the block", the friend told Hollywood Reporter. 'Paul said, "Let me go with you really quickly. The whole premise of taking the car out for a drive was because something was wrong. These guys are business owners and Paul was a celebrity. They are responsible people. It was more like, "What the hell is wrong with this car? Let’s see what’s wrong and go for a drive".' (Find the CCTV footage after the cut)

Burna Boy was part of a gang that stabbed someone to death?
I did a double take after reading this report on Thenet.ng. According to the investigative news portal, singer Burna Boy was part of a gang that stabbed someone to death in the UK in 2010. See it below...
We are told on good authority that while in the UK back in 2010, Burna Boy was arrested by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was tried as a minor and sent to jail.
After 11 months, he was released and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of being of ‘good behaviour’. But Burna is said to have disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat.
Oh wait, or did they say he was the one who stabbed someone to death? Oh dear..He later travelled back to the UK but was arrested at the airport and deported to Nigeria. He is currently barred from the UK for the next 15 years.

Ann Njemanze admits being older than her new husband..by 5 years
In a recent interview with Leadership Newspaper, actress Ann Njemanze admitted being older than her new husband, Silver Ojieson. Ann and Silver got married on Saturday Nov. 9th after courting for several months.
"Yes he is (younger), with a few years. My husband and I do not share up to 5 years difference and he is not bothered about it." Ann said in the interviewShe also talked about how they met and how he proposed. Find that after the cut...
How did you meet your husband?
My husband, Silver Ijieson is a lecturer. I met him at a lecture organized by the University of Lagos some 3 years back. Dr. Barclays Oyakeruma was supposed to give a lecture that day titled, ‘Nollywood and its effect on globalization’. My colleagues who were at the lecture encouraged me to come back and further my studies, I gave the excuse of no time. But Dr Oyakeruma urged me to enroll so as to broaden my knowledge. So a senior colleague of mine, Martins Odaji introduced me to my husband and we exchanged pleasantries and he said that if I needed help with my studies, I should not fail to call on him. A year later we met at the point of registering for my program.
When did he propose?
He proposed to me early this year; he just said he was going to marry me. I took it for granted, like he was just joking about it. I never saw the possibility because then he did not know much about me. I thought he just saw a woman he could exchange a lot of ideas with. He proposed to me properly seven months later, he gave me a ring. He was shaking all over like a leaf. He is light complexioned, so as he was proposing, he was all read. I love him so much because he is very courageous.
Has he ever been married before?
No, he’s never been married, no way. This is his last marriage in Jesus name. He is the only son of his parents too from Edo State.
Do you regret your first marriage?
Regret it? My daughter is taller and finer than I am. She is the headgirl of her school. In less than 2 weeks, she is going for a photo shoot. At 16, she has started earning money. She is writing for a magazine and you ask if I regret it? I thank him (Segun Arinze)!! Without him I would not have met my Silver.
Are you not afraid that your marriage might crash again?
No! I reject it. We have our differences, just like other couples do, but it is not enough to say, we no do again. Before we got married, we told ourselves that divorce and separation are no option.

Nigerian High Commission responds to basketball player, Olumide Oyedeji
TEAM Smooch. Last week, ex-NBA player and current team captain of the Nigerian Basketball team, Olumide Oyedeji, went on a Twitter rant about not getting any support from the Nigerian High Commission for his charity basketball clinic for kids in London. (If you missed it, read HERE).
The guy he accused of telling him to go to another country's embassy for support, Mr T.G Adeniyi has released a statement telling his own side of the story. He claims that Olumide still wrote to them seeking support after his twitter rants. Interesting. Lol. See his statement after the cut...
The guy he accused of telling him to go to another country's embassy for support, Mr T.G Adeniyi has released a statement telling his own side of the story. He claims that Olumide still wrote to them seeking support after his twitter rants. Interesting. Lol. See his statement after the cut...
My attention has just been drawn to the above stated story and I feel it is only tidy and proper to put the distorted story in its true picture for posterity. Mr. Oyedeji had first visited my office in company of his staff and we exchanged pleasantries. He introduced while he was in my office the idea of his Foundation to me. I saluted and congratulated him for his laurels as a professional basketballer and I assured him of our Mission's support. We exchanged complementary cards I similarly advised him on the procedure to follow for him to pay courtesy call on the High Commissioner. He thanked me and excited by his towering height I requested for a photograph with him and he graciously agreed for a pose. Before he left my office that day I told him of the High Commissioner's crowded programme since the beginning of November, to wit; Commonwealth Summit in Colombo, Srilanka , Mr President's visit and the Assembly of International Maritime Organization etc. He thereafter took leave of my office.
A few days afterwards, He called and I told him his excellency was still attending the IMO meeting and will only available as from 2nd December. But in Mr Oyedeji's wisdom he decided to come to the office and I spoke with him after he had spoken with the Head of Chancery. I repeated to him that the High commissioner was still engaged at the IMO at that was on the 28th of November. He explained to me his effort in the past year to make his presentation to HC. I replied that I was not aware of his initial move to which he told me he was then talking to a different person. I assured him that with a little more patience everything will be fine. Surprisingly , he changed the pitch of his tone and stated he wanted his Foundation to be launched at the Mission without further delay and indeed that was the reason why he came impromptu. At that point I advised him to consider during the launching in our Embassy in the country of his residence as he had told me during our first meeting that he was not a regular resident in the U.K since time was of essence. He paused and hanged his phone.
You may wish to note that Mr Oyedeji has again written to the Mission after posting his story to Twitter seeking audience after the attempted cheap and unnecessary blackmail. I decided to send this mail upon receipt of his letter. I will not make any analysis of his act but I request that this correspondence be published as you have treated his.
Thank You,
TG Adeniyi
